windows 11
HI all i have late 2015 Imac with a intel core 17-6700k cpu , and a tpm 2.0 on with paralels desktop 17 , windows 10 pro runs great i play games and all sorts stuff, i was going to upgrade it to windows 11 pro when i found out this processor intel core 17-6700k cpu is not on the supported list, i ran the pc health check and i green light for everything , but the processor. so since this is a virtual environment what are the risk to updating it ? . or will windows 11 not even install , i don't no MS logic of flagging a processor more the capable of running that windows 11 os . as its faster then some of the core i5 they green lighted . Let me know if its possible how do i go about upgrading it , and also will it get updates? thanks much and have a safe summer.

I suppose you run Win 10 on MAC Os under a virtual machine.
Yes, it is possible to run Win 11 with i7-6700K. I run on a i5-6600K
but
My advice is not to do it now. Win 11 isn't a year old and is still under development.
If you wish to do it:
I suggest you create a Disk image backup of the current Win 10 installation and do a upgrade to win 11. That is what I did.
Download a Win 11 iso mount it on win 10 and run setup.
To bypass the hardware restrictions follow this guide Windows 11 TPM Requirement? Bypass it in 5 Minutes
You will end with your win 10 upgrade to win 11 and activated.
If you don't like Win 11, simply restore the disk image backup of the Win 10 installation
