I don't give a toss what the 'release date' is for the official version of 24H2. I'm much more concerned that Microsoft release officially 24H2 when it is of some kind of acceptable standard. Of this I'm not quite 100% sure this will happen.

You do know that MS have multiple Quality Assurance programs? I live in hope they're sticking to the one for Windows 24H2 based on all the telemetry they've been gathering from users of the Release Preview version.

No, I can't pretend to be familiar with Microsoft's QA.

I believe that there will always be bugs.

I also believe that the odds of the bugs affecting me are small.

With billions of users worldwide, on diverse hardware, somebody is gonna get bitten. ;-)

I've got a niggling issue with my PC that I've had for a while, that said I cannot definitely blame it on 24H2.

I'm waiting for 24H2 official to drop so I can do a clean install on my daily driver. It's currently been running since November 2021 with Win10 later upgraded to Win11.

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
So if I install the non-security update on September 24, then I can update my system to 24H2 via Windows Update? I have two systems that are compatible with Windows 11. Hopefully, I can download the 24H2 iso so I can upgrade an unsupported system.

If this is accurate, I'll be spending part of my day on September 23 making disk images and backups.

I always thought that the Beta channel also comes after the official release.
