and i have enough systems they are working perfectly, even on a very old W500 from the Vista Win7 era, vintage 2009-2010, no Cleaninstall and others, i want to do.

I have read the C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log includes the sources of errors, but Nobody reads them, I have no idea about them.

The piracy / crack was not related to any links.

i have no piracy, that makes no sense, if necessary I could of course do a clean install, but all fingerprints on the P50 will then be deleted.

Not really as you won't be able to upgrade to 23h2 when it comes out in 3 weeks until you fix whatever is causing this in-place 22h2 upgrade to fail. But the choice is yours..

I strongly suggest you make a full system image before going further.

just give my method a go -- it actually does work and is all bog standard Windows (even from a Linux bigot like me !!!).

One thing I've found though - the difference between Windows and Linux Gurus -- Windows guys seem intent on making things as obscure and difficult as can be for the users -- whereas Linux guys just want to get the wretched thing up and running again ASAP and as simply as possible !!!!!

You've tried loads of other stuff and not getting anywhere with it. IMO don't throw good money after bad !!.

Just do it step by step -- after each step just post the status and I can guide from there if you get errors or don't know what to do next.

I have taught night classes etc while working on a Phd at Imperial college in London (We impecunious students from Iceland didn't get huge grants like those Brits back in the days where they got huge maintenance grants) -- and If you've ever taught a load of "Post Office Engineers" who would much rather be in the pub -- quite an achievement. !!! In those days the Brits had a nationalized telecoms system --Post office which controlled phones, mail, broadcasting etc and even back then fledgling WWW service which the USA always itself incorrectly claims the benefit of inventing it (and the http protocol).

I don't need an inplace upgrade, or CleanInstall.
Microsoft will use the same code base of the current Windows 11 22H2 here, then gradually integrate the functions of Windows 11 23H2 as Moment 4 and then activate it as a function update at the end of September / beginning of October (Patchday October) through the enablement package. A few kilobytes
