Hi Team

I am Manojkumar I cannot able to install .msi related softwares on my personal laptop and other development softwares also I cannot able to install like Unity game engine etc. Recently I faced a motherboard issue in my laptop they replaced a new motherboard and formatted my machine. They reinstalled Windows 11 since then the development softwares like visual studio, unity game engine I cannot able to install. I made windows installer service to automatic by downloading the .bat file everything I did still no use. Can anyone please tell me what is the issue I will ask the service team to reinstall the OS with the necessary stuff

I think the best solution is to get a new installation. Looks suspiciously like the one you have might be the S edition, and you can’t install much on that crippled software.

Welcome to the forum. Go to settings>system>about
scroll down to the “Windows Specifications” section. If you see the words “in S mode” to the right of the Edition entry, you're using an S Mode PC.
Report back what you see there.

Welcome to the forum.
First In the Settings app, go to Apps - Advanced App Settings, at the top of that page, there is a drop-down menu to select where you can install software from. That should be set to 'Everywhere'
You might try Jenny Yan's suggestion here. The result should be a log that will point to where the installer is failing.

Please type “Winver” into search on your PC and open it. Please type the version and build that it reports (you can copy/paste), into your “System Specs / OS” section (first on the list where you have placed “Windows 11”)
