Windows 11 Dimming happens too quickly

I am reading pdfs on my Windows 11 laptop and I will spend several minutes not interacting with the laptop as I read a page from the pdf. I am getting frustrated because dimming will occur before I click to go to the next page, and I have to interact with the laptop each time in order to go back to full brightness again. Is there a way to set the time at which dimming occurs?
