Windows 11/Edge - any way to change Google Home page background?

I think the answer is 'no' to my upcoming question from what I have researched, but I wanted to verify with you all - checking for a friend who uses Google Home page, on Microsoft Edge, Windows 11. Is there any way to change the Google background from white to something else? I see tons of directions on doing it for Chrome, but nothing else.

Somewhere on the Google homepage, there is a settings link.
That's where you can change, whatever Google will let you change.

Currently, I think Google homepage settings are in the lower right.

Now if you're talking about the EDGE/Google homepage... who knows.
I always set my Home page to www.google.com



Now on my Firefox/Google home page it's a bit different...

As for EDGE... you'd have to torture me, to force me to use EDGE. :-)

I use the new tab page, it follows your theme color..., course, probably not possible in Edge! 🤷‍♂️

It is possible in edge but you have to use an extension called NewGoogleTab-master
You then need to modify the index.html file to a location of your choice if not Google.
It takes me to my self-hosted site that has a log in page. How geeky is that?

I like the Chrome New Tab Page..., it follows your theme, all the Google API's are fully functional, and, no bloat.

It is possible to change the Google Chrome background. First, install the Stylus extension. Create a new Stylesheet (button at the top, right below the "style manager"), and in that sheet, next to the numbered lines, type:

body{
background: url("https://the-link-of-the-image-you-want-to-put-in-your-background") !important;
background-size: cover !important;
}

Right above that box will be another box with the headline URL Pattern (Regexp); in that box, put in google.com.

Presto! Your google.com background has now changed

P.S. This worked for me in Edge; however, the controls may be a little different in other browsers.
