I do not know why MS makes you use either a pin number or password to log into your Windows 11 Home computer. Do they not realize some people do not NEED any log in security all this is for those people is a pain in the butt.
I have tried for days but guess one can't remove the login password option for this reason I am sorry I got Windows 11.
I have been with Microsoft since the beginning of MS/DOS but this login passwords option I hate it.

My Windows 11 system has no Microsoft login, but a local account.
And there you can easily remove the password by filling in the old password and after that filling in just a return for the new password.

If you have a MS account, may be this topic will help you to convert to (or add) a local account:

May be there is a possibility to make the MS-login so that you don't need a password, but as I never used such an account, I would not know if it is possible and how to do it.

Way to go - shoot first, ask questions later.

Very simple solution - been around since Windows 7 days at least!!!

Press Win+R, run "netplwiz"

Uncheck the box that says you need to login with password.

on next screen - enter MS password twice.

I have tried all the above nothing works when I use the metplwix it just lists my user name as the administrator will not let me delete that. Also will not let me have an option to not have to use a password.
I have tried everything and nothing seems to work to let me eliminate the password.

When I understand right, this is not a system at home, but a system in company environment, where they use Windows 11 Home for their users. Is that right? Or who is your 'administrator' when the system is indeed situated at home?

In a home environment with no-one else to enter the computer but you and (possibly) your partner (but no children there), you can make the system work without passwords or make it auto-logon. That's the situation I'm in, the only thread would be that a burglar steals my computer. For that reason all confidential files have been secured with a password. The other files will not be of any value for someone who wants to steal something from me, all files have to do with my private surrounding, no (industrial) secrets there at all.

But in an environment where other people can use your computer without you knowing it, it is absolutely not done to make a auto-logon or logon without password! They could for instance log in and do harm to the system, where you would be to blame afterwards.

So if your in a company and the system administrator tells you to logon using a password or pincode, you will have to obey that and not try a way around!

This is a system at my home only used by me and my kids are grown and long gone. I believe when I installed MS365 it made me sign up for a MS account I have went there also and tried everything. I changed my email address to a secondary one at the MS account but it still sends that code number to my 1st email address that will for some reason not get codes sent by any business.
Anyway I do not have the options everyone has said to do as they are not active for me when I go there. Very frustrating as win 11 home asks for that login password 10 times a day CRAZY.

I am 74 years young now been using MS/Dos and Windows since it was created so I know a little about windows and computers. Been fixing and building computers for many years but after say 2000 no more to many operations and then in 2018 got Acute Leukemia from my Marine yeratrs and heavy exposure to Agent Orange but thanks to a stem cell transplant and years of chemo I am still typing so far.
I do have chemo brain now and not as sharp minded as I once was.

In your case I really don't understand what you mean by:
I have tried all the above nothing works when I use the metplwix it just lists my user name as the administrator will not let me delete that.
The adminstrator: that's you!

But may be you have the problem that's described here for Windows 10:

I found that in Windows 11 the same problem exists and the registry change described did help.

In order not to make you fiddle in your registry I made two registry files, one to enable the missing checkbox in netplwiz (not metplwiz!) and one to undo the registry change if wish so. Please see the attached ZIP file for both registryfiles. I hope that will enable you to log on automatically at start of your computer.

As for your age and medical problems: you are not the only one having that age (I myself am a little bit older), but I would not dare to bring in my medical records in a computer forum as it has nothing to do with the computerproblem you have!

Normally spoken the system will only ask you the password at system startup.
But after I installed my system I did switch off that I had to fill in a password when awaking the PC from sleep or hibernation (or from having a locked screen). It has to be turned off under Setup - Accounts - Sign-in options (as shown in #3). There should be something like: When is a password required if you return to the computer? (freely translated from Dutch language). And your answer should be: never.

As I later on disabled passwords completely, this question does not appear anymore on my system, so I could not say exactly how to do that.

It is relatively easy in Windows 11 to change to a Local Account with/without using a password:

Settings > Accounts > Account settings > Your info > Account settings > Sign in with a local account instead.

You will need to enter your current MS account login details to continue.

Then on entering Local Account info, if you do not want to use a password do not enter anything in the password boxes. > Next > Sign out and Finish.

It is as easy as that...
