I tried to upgrade my laptop from Windows 11 Home Single Language.
Steps that I did
Step 1: I go to Settings>Activation
Step 2: I entered a generic WIN 11 PRO key(Disconnected from the internet)
Step 3: Once reboot is done I reconnected to internet again the type my retail product key.

Once this appeared and did not Activate my license key

Is this Store you got the key from trustworthy? Is it possible that the key has been stolen from the store and someone already used it?

I don't think so because I buy from them previously and I used it for my desktop

So there is a conflict with the OEM license embedded to my computer what should I do now

It seems you’ve tried to use the key on different machines or it’s faulty?

As for bypassing the embedded license in your Firmware. There is a bypass/fix

Wrong windows version given by Microsoft after install

It isn't a problem, because I used my Windows 10 upgrade key from Home to Pro and Windows 11 accepted it and upgraded. But I am wondering why the completed fresh installation gave me Windows 11 Home instead of Windows 11 Pro when the laptop was in fact noted on my Microsoft accounts digital...

Also, you should not have to use the generic key in Windows. Just type in the key you want to use and it should be all good.

What is possible though, is that the key you got does not work because Windows expects an upgrade key.

To solve this, you may have to do a clean install using the method @antspants just provided. Please note that even that is not 100% guaranteed to work in your case...so there's risk involved.

What is possible though, is that the key you got does not work because Windows expects an upgrade key.

To solve this, you may have to do a clean install using the method @antspants just provided. Please note that even that is not 100% guaranteed to work in your case...so there's risk involved.

I did this also but it say "You're product key didn't work" something like that so I thought I'm doing the wrong thing and also forgot to mention this, Does it matter if I Have a Windows 11 Home Single Language version 23H2 and the version of the product key I bought is 21H2

It would appear that the ei.cfg has gone from that page.
Obviously replace references to Windows 10 with Windows 11 (should be same process as it worked for me)

The error that you received in post #1 means exactly what it says. You purchased a product key that has been previously used. You have three choices:
1. Contact the retailer you purchased the product key from, tell them the error you got, and insist they give you another product key.
2. Buy another product key from another source.
3. Call Microsoft Product Activation number (888) 571-2048 and they might activate it for you.

Most likely because I tried the other solutions that they gave me but none works. I'll contact the retailer. Thanks Guys I appreciate the helps
