
Windows 11 is significantly slowing down some NVMe SSDs

Thanks for the feedback. I let my SP6 cool down overnight. I started it up at 430am when the ambient temp was about 22°C and ran the same tests with mostly similar results. CrystalDiskMark did edge up to 203.7 Mbps for Seq Writes, but that's still not good enough, IMHO.If the controller runs hot (nvme do, and it will run hottest with long sequential writes), it will throttle down the transfer speed in order to keep cool. Try it right after a cold boot. Only thing I can think of off-hand. That is quite low though.

PS: I rad CrystalDiskMark, too, and it reported Health Status as "Good 92%" and temperature as 43°C.
