Windows 11 is significantly slowing down some NVMe SSDs

If the controller runs hot (nvme do, and it will run hottest with long sequential writes), it will throttle down the transfer speed in order to keep cool. Try it right after a cold boot. Only thing I can think of off-hand. That is quite low though.
Thanks for the feedback. I let my SP6 cool down overnight. I started it up at 430am when the ambient temp was about 22°C and ran the same tests with mostly similar results. CrystalDiskMark did edge up to 203.7 Mbps for Seq Writes, but that's still not good enough, IMHO.

PS: I rad CrystalDiskInfo, too, and it reported Health Status as "Good 92%" and temperature as 43°C.

It is showing you the nand temperature, not the controller, which runs higher. But SSD usually don't throttle until above 70c on the controller, so from the nand temp I expect the controller to be less than 70, or at least it shouldn't be throttling that much. Also, your SSD doesn't have on-board RAM so uses host RAM as a buffer, which will slow it down but not by that much I think. So I don't know.

You do have write caching enabled in the device manager for the device correct?

Yes. Forgot to check that, so thanks for the reminder. 👍

BTW, I meant to say I ran "CrystalDiskInfo." I edited my post to correct that.
