Such as windows 10, windows8.1 and windows7

It seems to delete the update files after installing them

should also work for a "Real machine" too.

fiddle around like this :

  1. Copy all content from the LanguagesAndOptionalFeatures folder in the ISO to the folder you created.
    [!NOTE] If you're working with limited storage, you can use the mounted "Languages and Optional Features" ISO as a repository. To learn how to create a repository, see Build a custom FOD and language pack repository.

  2. Set the permissions on the language content repository share so that you have read access from the VM you'll use to build the custom image.

Create a custom Windows 11 Enterprise image manually​


You can create a custom image by following these steps:


  1. Deploy an Azure VM, then go to the Azure Gallery and select the current version of Windows 11 Enterprise you're using.
  2. After you've deployed the VM, connect to it using RDP as a local admin.

Forget about the Azure W11 bit -- you just need the data from the iso.

I'm downloading it now and will see what's in it and see if I can create a 2 lang version (Eng and Dutch) of Windows on a test machine.

it's a 6.7GB download called : 22621.1.220506-1250.ni_release_amd64fre_CLIENT_LOF_PACKAGES_OEM.iso

I have already downloaded these files


After that, I extracted the language packs from it
Then I installed it on Windows using the lpksetup wizard
And it totally worked
This means that I can embed it with an ISO file using DISM
thanks

Well done -- I often use VM's and then replicate to physical machines -- especially as I run several on external USB disks as Win2go type devices which don't upgrade to newer builds (minor updates work of course) - so I update the VM and then clone it to a physical disk. I have all the relevant physical drivers so no problem there.

Use 7z or winrar or any software to extract the contents of the iso file
You will find language packs on this name

Hi, I'm trying to install the complete Italian language pack, because if I do the traditional download, these features aren't installed:

Basic typing - Sorry we're having trouble installing this feature. You can again later. Error code 0x0
Handwriting - Sorry we're having trouble installing this feature. You can again later. Error code 0x80070490
Basic speech recognition - Sorry we're having trouble installing this feature. You can again later. Error code 0x80070490

I have already downloaded the Italian language pack: Microsoft-Windows-Client-Language-Pack_x64_it-it.cab

but when I try to install it with the lpksetup.exe command, it tells me that the language is already installed, even if I delete it first.

What can I do to solve the problem?

I have installed the version of Windows 11 Pro - 22H2 - 22621.2283 - Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22662.1000.0
