Solved Windows 11 Pro ARM64 and HP Smart

I have a Lenovo Copilot+PC system with the Snapdragon Elite processor. The ability to print to my HP OfficeJet All-in-one 9132c is severely inhibited. Why is this? Are there any solutions to this situation?

When you say that your ability to print to that printer is severely inhibited what do you mean by this? I'm assuming that you have arm64 drivers from HP for the printer. Is it just that the arm64 drivers are limited when compared with x64 drivers?

I have a Brother printer rather than an HP, and they haven't produced a driver for ARM/Snapdragon yet. This is the text from their web site:

"When using your Brother machine on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer with an ARM processor, you must use the built-in printer or scanner drivers that are included with Windows 10 or Windows 11. The built-in drivers support the basic functions of your Brother machine: printing and scanning."

I presume you have the same issue. We just have to wait until the printer companies catch up.

I'm still not at all sold on the ARM based PCs. Too many programs still don't work on them.
