Has a new windows 11 update removed the safely remove hardware icon? It just started to be missing for me.
I saw this and did this. Was really surprised this was turned off Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media. No one uses my computer but me and I did not turn it off.

Method 1: Enable the Icon in Taskbar Settings
- Right-click any empty space on your taskbar and select Taskbar settings.
- Scroll down and expand the Other system tray icons (or Notification area) section.
- Look for Windows Explorer (Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media) and toggle the switch to On.
- Check the system tray (bottom-right corner) to see if the icon appears.
