Not silly.

Yes you do

On a very rare occasion you have to remove it if you find it reboots back to the USB install media on first reboot. I haven’t seen that problem in a long while though.

Which would be weird because UK/English has similar spelling and setup to Australian/English. It’s just your keyboards that do my head in.
Helping people remotely in the UK has always been an issue due to a slight keyboard problem with the number key functions.

The only probelm I forsee is that you have changed the boot order in the BIOS.

Normally on a laptop there is a function key that opens a boot menu so that you don’t need to change the BIOS

Good that’s what I’ve been doing. Right sadly that last attempt failed at 63%. So should I now clean install or decide to keep nothing, which is best?

Alternatively, you try download 23H2 Int/English from UUDUMP. I hate that process so I can’t advise you

I tried zbook at the beginning but couldn’t provide him with everything he wanted as didn’t understand what to do. I do now and sent him what he wanted but he’s never replied back….

Zbook is basically one of the the only people here that takes care of the BSOD section in regards to Diagnostics.

I believe if you used the US/English ISO, you can just add a language pack after Windows installs and make it default. I’m really not sure.

Just getting a message saying it looks like you started an upgrade and booted from installation media. If you want to continue the upgrade, remove the media from your PC and click Yes. If you want to do a Clean Install instead click No.
