Anyone offer any advise as to why my laptop is only running 23H2, the only updates i seem to get are security patches?

Did you enable "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" in Settings > Windows Update.

I did mine manually from an installation iso

    Love this computer but I still prefer Win-7 like I love my old Lazy Boy Recliner . . . it just feels better.

    The only thing it lack is USB-3.2 on the front face but it has 3.0 on the back

If it's the computer in the OP's specs then it has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8850H. That's 8th gen CPU with SSE4.2 and is a supported processor for Windows 11.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.

Open Regedit and go to:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\TargetVersionUpgradeExperienceIndicators

There you should find a GE24H2 key. In that key look for the values of GatedBlockReason and RedReason. If they both say 'None' then there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to upgrade to 24H2. There may also be a 25H2 key, the same applies for that.

Yes, I also saw it, but the TPM may be disabled on BIOS that is why I asked to run WhyNotWin11

There you should find a GE24H2 key. In that key look for the values of GatedBlockReason and RedReason. If they both say 'None' then there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to upgrade to 24H2. There may also be a 25H2 key, the same applies for that.

I did just a couple of weeks ago to get from 23H2 to 25H2 on an unsupported PC
I only just got the update notice to go from 24 to 25 on my supported PC a week ago but I have not applied it yet. So we dont seem to all get the update at the same time. I dont think I need that update. You could just wait a little longer and see if it comes(?) MOST people have it by now but Google AI say not everyone.
