I had an issue dual booting Windows 10 and 11 on a laptop. I finally solved that issue by first reinstalling Windows 11 from scratch to the system, and then deploying Windows 10 to a VHDX. If interested in those details, please see this thread:
Both Windows 10 and 11 now work great, the only issue is that on the boot menu, the timer starts to down but after 3 seconds it disappears. For example: 30, 29, 28, then the timer disappears. At that point I manually need to select either Windows 10 or 11.
I tried changing the timeout, but the problem remains. For example, I set to timeout to 5 seconds and then the countdown is 5, 4, 3, and the timer disappears.

As noted, Windows 11 22H2 was just installed clean, from scratch. The C: drive was then BitLocker encrypted. I then deployed Windows 10 21H2 to a VHDX on the BitLocker encrypted volume, located in the root of C:\.
Both Windows 10 and 11 work perfectly, it is only the timeout on the boot menu that is not working.
I can't seem to find anything on the Internet about this issue. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?
