Configures malicious code protection mechanisms to:

i. Perform periodic scans of the information system weekly and real-time scans of

files from external sources at the endpoint as the files are downloaded, opened, or

executed in accordance with organizational security policy; and

ii. Block malicious code in response to malicious code detection

It is an antivirus, so yes. Not really sure what you are asking here.
