Hi there, I'm having the same issue here.
It was normal when I first upgraded to win11, but after a day or so it became like this.
My condition is exactly like post #8, with the columes having a white background dark text, and the files in the detail view having a dark background and text.
I turned off/on transparency; I updated windows last night; I tried to change the registry like #16 suggested, changed the value of Background from 0 0 0 to 107 105 214 and restarted the machine; I also tried post #17, all to no avail.
Windows Build/Version: W11 24H2
I used 3rd party Windows customisation tools, they were ExplorerPatcher and QTTabbar. The issue started while using these tools, I uninstalled both of them, but the issue persists.
I also used registry edits like this:
New-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize -Name SystemUsesLightTheme -Value 0 -Type Dword -Force; New-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize -Name AppsUseLightTheme -Value 0 -Type Dword -Force
that was useable while in win10. I tried to switch the values to 1 and 0 back and forth, but it didn't solve the problem.
Hope somebody can give some more solutions, thanks in advance
