Hi, how to get better refresh rate in Windows File Explorer?
When I copy/move/delete files in File Explorer application, it takes times til the changes reflect on it, this is really annoying: I always have to then move to a different folder and come back to my initial folder to see the changes (this means also a lot of time lost).

For some time Windows has tended to put the newest-added file at the bottom of the Name list. If in a hurry I just click the word Name twice at the top of the file name folder. One click of any of the column heading rearranges the list in either Ascending or Descending order, another click does the other, e.g. if wanting the largest files listed first click Size, will stay that way until rearranging the Name column.

There are as many solutions to the old refresh issue as there are people that have the problem. From anywhere in file explorer your can always hit f5 for an immediate refresh.

Yours may be fixed by simply setting file explorer options to default
1. Open File Explorer
2. On the top bar, click the right most "..." to open more option
3. Click "option"
there are three tabs on the top, what you have to do is to click the "restore to default" button on each tab.
remember to click "apply".

Some have found mapped network drives to be the issue but looking at the multiple threads on MS forum, the majority found it to be related to Onedrive or another cloud provider. Turning off Onedrive folder backup sync and unlinking the account and PC from Onedrive would be the solution if that is your case.. If you want to go that route, report back and I will post instructions how.
