Windows Phone Link usage

Hi.. I'm using Windows 11, up to date and have been using Phone Link for a while.. I've
just come across a situation when using it that I've not seen before. The situation is this:

1. make a call from Windows
2. enter a number from Windows when prompted..
e.g. the prompt from the dialed number indicates to 'enter 1 for xxxx, 2 for yyyy'
I've tried to do this but have no success.. OK from the phone but when clicking a number
on the displayed Windows Phone Link keypad, nothing.. I'm thinking that I have to enter it somehow
but I don't know how...

I've managed to determine how to reply to a dialed number's prompts... issue resolved...
