The 11600KF is one of the affected processors.

If you did this one... I'm thinking maybe this one, rather than the monthly update may have caused the problem?

I don't have any info about this.
I'm just trying to figure out why the monthly update possibly broke processor Security, then didn't break it, the 2nd time.

It's also possible that the 1st time you did the monthly update, it HAD the problem, but MS fixed it since then?
Or it could just have been a glitched download, when you did the update the 1st time?

I am running same version as you . The latest update did not affect my tpm. If you suspect the latest update caused the problem, you can first try uninstalling the update. Pause updates before uninstalling it to keep it from re-installing.

The last thing I did yesterday morning before updating was to make a backup of 22621.1344, which had the microcode update applied.

Well, since you just used that backup... it wasn't the microcode update.
Probably just a glitched download or install of the monthly update. It happens occasionally.

Either that or you have poltergeists. :D
