Windows 11 Home
I've been using wumt w/o problems for about 6 months on my W11 Home laptop. Yesterday I opened it to check for updates.

The "Windows Update" category showed several updates to be installed ... this is OK. And the "Update History" category showed the updates is typically showed ... this is also OK. But the "Installed" and "Hidden" categories were empty! There should have been a whole bunch of updates within "Installed" ... and about 10 or 11 updates within "Hidden" (mostly drivers).

How can I fix this so that wumt will see the correct information? Without this information I can no longer unhide and install a hidden update, nor can I uninstall an installed update.

Hi @bobhoward
This is a third-party tool without any website -but a forum in Russia-.
Maybe try to get some help from the developer on that forum?
I am not quite sure why you do not stick to the built-in features of Windows Update but you probably have a reason.
Do you have a backup or a restore point?

Do not have recent backup /restore point. Thanks for the info on the forum in Russia ... I'll poke around to see if I can find it and if it's in English. But a big problem is that my grandparents were from the Ukraine!

UPDATE ... there's an English forum for wumt on MDL (My Digital Life dotnet). Haven't gone into the details of this as yet ...

MDL seems to be the English language forum indeed. There's just one thread for Windows Update MiniTool so any question is simply posted onto the end of that thread (which therefore contains a mixture of issues). Fortunately there's not much activity so it's fairly easy to locate a response.

I went into Windows Update and it showed two drivers waiting to be downloaded and installed (these weren't found by wumt). So I had Windows Update download and install them. And for some reason, that cleared the entire problem. When I went back into wumt and clicked to have it scan for updates, it now shows everything back to normal.
