I just did some Windows updates... I restarted when asked and it applied the updates and restarted. It asked for my PIN, which it never does. Now all of my personal files are gone!!! My downloads are gone, my documents are gone, my desktop background is back to defaults, Calendar is complaining that my account is broken and it won't take my password when I try the "Fix Account" option. Most of my personal settings are gone!
I did not have OneDrive installed on this computer - it was removed as soon as I could when I did my Windows 11 install many months ago.
Where are my files? What is wrong with my account? What did Microsoft do?
