Windows 11 Pro - version 24H2
I just came across the Winget --all command. It's very useful.

But I'm not sure what to do about those files Winget won't upgrade. One article I read said that Winget won't update programs when it can't find their version number since it can't tell if my computer has a more recent version running.

Two questions:
1) Should I try to update those files?
2) I did try to use the command "Winget upgrade --all --include-unknown". Although I did something wrong and that specific command doesn't work, should I even try to use the correct version of it? I don't think there would be a problem, but I thought I'd ask.

You may want to look at Uniget as well. It started as a graphical interface to winget, but it includes other sources besides winget (for example one that updates python modules.
