It maybe noteworthy to say that I run Windows 11 Pro with a Local Account. My Windows 11 OS is not signed-in with my Microsoft account.
But with the deletion of shortcuts, I reduced my overcrowded Win+X menu. I'm happy with the result, applied to 3 laptops.
Thanks and credit for this, go to...
This is the only way that works. I was able to remove all links that (to me) are making this menu overcrowded with unnecessary links.
Apparently the new file location is now: C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\
Thanks you for sharing.
With the latest Windows 11 Update, this no longer works.
All Default folder shotcuts no longer appear in any of the: %LocalAppdata%\Microsoft\Windows\WinX folder.
Anyone know how to fix this? Because now the WinX folder is overcrowded with shortcuts in my opinion.

Open register by typing regedit in...
Today I did a fresh install with the latest Windows 11 download. And the result is (unfortunately) the same.
I have made the colour Lime Green with the horizontal slider to move it to max. Hit Done to save (and use) this colour and appears in this result?? See attachment.
So still a bug in my...

It will not go any brighter. It has nothing to do with the extra note: This colour might be hard to read.
So to me, it has a limitation is some sort of colour intensity, which was not present at...
Yup it does not work. This light blue has the following result. See attachments.
Do you have the same results on your Windows 11 computer?
If not, it is an issue I have. If you have the same results, then it might be a Windows 11 issue.
But Microsoft wil never help me because it is installed...
