It has been over 5 years since I have set up a new computer from new and adding a new user profile now seems to be 'Adding an account'. The process asks for the new users email address, sign in to their Microsoft Account involving 2FA. Neither my wife or I want to sign in to our MS Accounts.
It used to be that a user with Admin priveleges could add a new profile and all you had to do was give the profile a name and allocate a password and that was it. New user created.
Have I misunderstood? Is it really necessary to go through 'Adding an Account' to add another user to my device?
