I know what you mean, I loved the game but you can only play it so many times :-) I love messing around so the mods suit me fine, some are from the half-life universe and some are just totally different, some are great and some aren't worth playing

Yeah, I've not touched the games since 2014. Had a few mods, but I can't even tell you what those are now. I don't even know where my HL mods folder is as I've since removed it from the local drive.

At this point, I've no desire to play HL anymore. And My joy was also killed when Valve decided to never release HL 3 and clear that cliff hanger from HL 2 Episode 2 where Alyx's dad is killed. I'm still cursing Gabe Newal's @ss out for that move :ffs:

Totally agree my friend. That is why I like the mods, as they are similar but not the same and after all they are very dated now but still fun for me

I don't know what your age is but I'm in my mid 60's and still gaming. Currently still playing Division 2, but also awaiting the DLC release for Cyberpunk 2077. Also, the new Dragon Age game.

I don't mind modern games; in fact, I look forward to them. My only requirement is that they pique my interest :-)

Also awaiting Diablo IV release (pre-purchased), as well as playing the heck out of Everspace 2 (purchsed while it was still in development) and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (EA Play Pro subscription), while waiting for the same Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, and the next DA (and ES, for that matter).

I'm only in my 50s, but still....

Just curious to know do you like Diablo 2 or Diablo 3 more?
The online consensus seems to be that those who really like D2 (I'm one of those) don't really care much for D4 since it's kinda like D3 just with a brown filter haha. Not that D3 isn't fun, I've sunk couple of hundreds of hours there easily, but it's definitely not a game I'd play for decades like D2

Btw, are there any FROM Software fans over here?

I've heard good things about them, but yeah, I started with Demon's Souls in 2009 and have been playing (and loving!) every game they've released since. I'm somewhat hyped for the new Armored Core, though I've only played the first one of those back on the ps1...

Just as an FYI warning. This is one of my favorite courses (downloadable). Link is in the instructions.
On this course, it's possible to birdie every 3 and 4 par, and eagle every 5 par.

Beware of the evil holes. Holes 7, 9, and 11. They don't "seem" hard, but they are truly evil, and built to trip you up.
Even so, you can still get par on each of them, but they call on nether forces to keep you from the birdies.

@Ghot thanks for the dropbox link, I have Links 2003 installed to a external hard drive caddy (256 GB Samsung SSD) that way I can use it on all of my PC's by just plugging the one external drive into another PC.

Note: I had to mount and run the ISO and follow the "readme" for each PC to get the shortcuts in the Start Menu, However a much simpler way is to browse to the "LinksLauncher" Application in the install folder > right click > Send to Desktop (Create Shortcut) and place the shortcut in the Start menu.

I also splurged $12 (Used PayPal) and bought the 47 add on courses using the Links CC Link on the Left Hand side of the "Courses - Links" page from the TXT file contained in Your download link as some of the courses in the TXT file were no longer free and needed to be purchased.

Also when I made the $12 purchase from the Links CC site I had to create an account which has a license code for the courses, Download links of the purchased courses (Which I also saved locally for reinstalls) and a copy of your orders.

I keep a separate folder with a "copy" of all my downloaded courses.
As you (and I) have noticed... things don't stay the same on that site.

What's free or costs a certain amount now... could change in the future.
I have a total of 58 courses to the tune of 6.7 GB. I don't want to have to download them ever again. :cool:
