I think the subject says it all, but a picture is worth 1000 words. I'd like to be able to click on a running app in the Taskbar, like Command Prompt in this pic. I'd like some way to have ALL of the app's windows to re-open (if minimized) or come to the front. Instead, today I have to hover and click on each one of the windows, and I quite often have a LOT of windows open for an app like CMD or Outlook, and sometimes I just want to look at the whole app (all windows) at once. Yes, I know about Alt-Tab and Win-Tab, but those are just window switchers. I'm looking for an app switcher, to bring the whole app to the foreground.
Thanks, but that’s not the same thing, that’s about which Desktops show their windows in the taskbar. I’m trying to find a way to show all the windows that belong to a certain app at once. I’d even take a VBscript or something that would do it, but I can’t find the Windows objects/commands that do that. I don’t think this is possible natively in the UI or thru scripting.
