Intel Graphics Software, (what do I do with it?) just sittinng on my desktop

They're just system management software. Typically you would ever need to do anything in them. If what you see are just shortcuts you can remove them if you don't want the clutter on the desktop

Are they installation programs? You seem to imply that they aren’t shortcuts, and your image shows a Windows update status, but Windows doesn’t typically put .exe files directly on the desktop. I would at least upload those executables to VirusTotal to check.

I can't tell how old your Dell is but mine, bought new Dec 2019, see My Computers section, came with the Optane memory. It wasn't the Optane that was a stand alone drive it was just a separate 32GB partition on the main 512GB SSD. Mine was the H10 version of Optane, if you happen to look up Optane Memory, as there are several versions and Dell doesn't really tell the consumer which version came with the computer they bought. With everything I read Optane really doesn't do much to improve speed considering the speed of the SSD anyway. So I just reformatted that 32GB partition for regular storage purposes.

Doesn't need to be Optane. Intel motherboards provide Intel EFI and windows driver support for Optane, disks, SSD and RAID. The software in question is Intel management software mainly for RAIDed drives. The BIOS probably has Intel RAID support enabled (which also supports non-raided disks and SSD) and the Intel Windows driver for this loaded. Windows detects this and installs the management software.

If you do not have any disks in a RAID array configuration, you don't need this management software.

The graphics software is either a driver for the Intel on-chip graphics, but more likely the management software for that.

I only have one Inspiron 15 3511 laptop, with one 500gb SSD. bought from dell in 2022. I can post a screenshot or theres a place in phoenix I can take it to.? Theres a Dell outlet up there! thanks for the replies... Here's the two items. I have a feeling your going to say it's management software thx. (I tried to reduce the size as much as I could) seen these before?

Intel Optane was a special SSD memory that had a unique architecture that was discontinued in 2022 due to lack of interest for the most part. It's supposed to be faster than traditional SSD, but that promise was largely unfulfilled IMO. In any case, it is no more. It needed special driver software to run, hence what you see.
