Bluetooth Speaker Connection

I am using the most current version of Windows 11. I was given a pair of Bluetooth speakers to pair with my computer. These are Insignia speakers. When I went to the Bluetooth page in Windows and paired the speakers to the computer, the pairing seemed to be successful except that the name of the speakers flashes on and off instead of remaining steady. When I try to play music while I work the sound come out of my computer's own speaker instead of the Insignia speakers. I have tried this a couple of times with the same result. I get the same result with a different set of speakers I already owned. Any idea how to fix this?

Have a check through this and make sure you’re doing it correctly

With the speakers connected press the Windows key + CTRL key + V. Select the speakers if showing.

I composed my reply when you posted. I saw the popup that someone else had posted but added my reply anyway. Mine was just a short answer to try.

Thanks so much for your help. I tried all the options mentioned and none of them seem to work. Here is what it is doing.

That is odd. You seem to have some weird issues with your connected speakers. Looks like it is turning on/off very rapidly. No wonder it does not play anything.
