Okay. I removed the M2 and disconnected the SATA and the blue boot message appeared. I stopped there. I am not sure exactly what this means and what I should do next. Everyone has been such a great help. Thank you! BTW, the SSD is still under warranty.

reconnect the sata drive and see if it still boots, im assuming your main boot drive is the m2 and it might be dead.

if after connecting the sata drive the the system still boot. add the m2 drive again and see if it still boot, but chances are one of the drive is bad and its stopping the motherboard from completing the boot process you it doesnt get to where it would display the boot screen.

By tapping F10 on start-up, I am able to get to the bios set-up utility now.

When I reinstall the M2, start up and tap F10, the bios utility will not come up. When I remove the M2 and tap F10 on start up the bios utility will come up. Does that conclude that the M2 SSD is bad, and that I should replace it?

Did you leave the sata hd disconnected? when you tried to boot with the M.2 drive.

Hey PenPusher - thank you for the follow-up and for helping me today. Yes, I left the sata hd disconnected when you tried to boot with the M.2 drive and vice versa. I tried all combinations - one, the other, both, and none. Thank you again.
