Solved Bootable Rescue Disk For Windows 11?

Hi everyone,

So on Windows 10 my favorite recovery disk was Kyhi's bootable recovery disk from tensforum Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Help Forums

Now that I got a new laptop running Windows 11 I was wondering if I still could use this custom Windows 10 Recovery disk?

If not what bootable recovery tool do you recommend for Windows 11?

There is likely little to no difference between Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, server, enterprise, etc. when using Windows RE or PE software.


For example a bootable Windows 10 iso can be used for Windows 7, 8, 11 etc.

Sure it will work, only problem is if @KYHI"s tool is W11 compatible to create new drives. Not checked recently.

I used Windows' own Recovery Media Creator to create a recovery USB flash drive for my W11 machine. I noticed that it is significantly bigger than one I made in the same way for W10. Not keen to dig deeper, I then made recovery USB flash drives for each individual Windows machine in my stable, possibly redundant, but I have spare USB sticks idling around, so why not? Each computer has its own recovery USB flash drive, made by itself for itself (y)

Thanks for confirming and for the extra information, appreciate it.
One of your link mentioned The Ultimate Boot CD which made me nostalgic. I used to use that one back in the times when burning bootable CDs was a thing. I used to have one of those CD organizers with all sort of tools burned on CDs. Good times.

I might check out Hiren's one, seems like a popular choice.
