Can a hacker connect to laptop that is not connected to a network?

Dear

If my laptop has wifi turned on - but is not connected to a network or another device.

Can a hacker see my laptop and connect to my laptop?

Not through wifi if it is not connected.

However, there are evil twin attacks that attempt to use saved known networks to get your device to auto connect to their bad network to hack you, that acts and is named like a saved coffee shop you visited one time.

They would be able to detect a laptop via bluetooth if it is on and see it is there, but would not be able to pair with it unless your in pairing mode.

Laptop has wifi/bluetooth, internet or not. They’d have to be pretty close to you. That’s how I understand it.

For it to auto connect to the malicious network, it would require that the hacker has used / copied both the network name / SSID and the network password?

If someone creates a wifi network with the exact same name that is stored in your known network saved list, and matches the password, it will auto connect. If they don't match the password it will not auto connect, but it will be easy to trick someone to choose it.

Hacker can only connect to your computer remotely through network connection or have physical access to your computer.
