Can't Stop iCloud From Opening

Since updating to Win. 11 pro ver. 24H2 yesterday I cannot stop iCloud from opening its user interface when the computer boots up. Please see this attachment:

I searched and it said to disable iCloud using the task Manager. Just disabling iCloud did not fix it. I disabled every incident of iCloud in the Task Manager and that didn't work either. I searched for iCloud in the Task Scheduler and found nothing there. I used Autorun64 and searched for iCloud and found nothing that identified as iCloud. I found this and have no idea what it is or what to do with it:

It is what is highlighted in blue but I don't see the word iCloud anywhere inside the blue highlighted area and besides iCloud is an Apple product not a Microsoft one.

How can I stop iCloud from opening when my computer is turned on?

I'm not sure if you are referring to the downloadable application named "icloud for Windows" or the newer "icloud app" from the windows store. Several years ago I installed icloud for Windows. It proved to be too intrusive so I uninstalled it.

You can see if there is a service associated with it that is causing the popups. Open Services. If there is an Apple or iCloud service, disable it. Know that you will have to re-enable the service any time you want to use icloud on your computer. Other than that, only thing I can suggest is to uninstall it

If you will look at the reviews in the windows store for the icloud app, you will see MANY reports recently about the same issue that you have.

It is the iCloud for Windows as far as I know. I just checked Services and there is no mention of Apple or iCloud. I don't really want to remove it from my machine since I use the photos which can be found when I click on the object inside the red box which is in the left pane of Windows File Explorer. Please see attachment.


Not sure if removing it would cause that to not work but I do use it quite frequently to get photos from my iPhone onto my PC. Thanks for replying.
