I just downloaded the CCleaner Official Release (v7.00.984). Extracting it however I only see a "300~" file of 80kb. No extension.

Revo & BCuninstaller are application/program uninstallers only, they will cleanup remnants of those uninstallations as well.
CCleaner, Wise Disk Cleaner & others reclaim wasted storage space only.

You can then delete x86 folder & CCleaner.exe and keep the 64 bit one.

I use PrivaZer - the Free version: Free PC cleaner & Privacy tool - for its thorough cleaning capabilities (once a month - or every 2 months or so). It's a superior cleaner to all cleaners mentioned above (both as a cleaner but also for privacy). Can detect SSDs too and treat them differently than HDD. For browsers - there's also the option to chose which cookies to keep (manually - for precision or auto focused on the usual - but will delete your elevenforum cookies and you'll have to re-login, manually you can add it to the exclusion list). Obviously takes longer to do what it does (doing a better job - takes more time).

The Pro Version - gives you access to automated features and is more of a donation-ware - in the sense that - it doesn't have a fix price. You can pay a minimum of 10$ or 10.000$ for exactly the same license. :)

Then again I have nothing to hide, so, 'so called privacy' is not what I look for when reclaiming storage.
I must give mine then and state this is not what I have experienced but to each their own.

Last option 'Portable' is CCleaner 6.39. There is no portable version 7.

By the way, apparently there's no 'Slim' build either, the Slim link downloads exactly the same online installer as the Standard installer link

Update #2. Whoops I did not download the Portable version since it's still on 6.39. I was attempting to see what @dacrone was describing in the full version. However the current Full version appears to be the Online installer only, not a stand-alone.

The only version of CCleaner I use is... 5.78.8558. The good stuff.

My CCleaner Tweaks...

I use CCleaner 5.78 I installed it offline, and I blocked it and it's updaters in MY firewall. And... since it was purchased by Avast, I also "added" these lines to my HOSTS file (which "blocks" them)... C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS...

i ran the 7 installer and it extracts to C:\WIndows\Temp\aws-xxxxx before installing. i cant get the pro .exe but if you give it to me i'll get it sorted... dont need a license, just the installer

I delete X64 as well since that is all the bloat DLL's and exe's.
Then I just block the ccleaner.exe with the firewall in and out.

CCleaner 7 Warning

My Wife's Laptop automatically installed this , I would advise not to use this. It is a Bloatware Nightmare. I blocked it on mine.

I only use the Portable version Ive been using it for years block it also in my firewall settings no bloatware for me.
And only these 3 files that are placed in C:\Program Files\CCleaner Folder

PrivaZer Pro cleans and renders your files irretrievable at about the same time. So it doesn’t take up that much time.

For the average user, it gives you a set of recommended boxes to check. I checked all the ‘Yes’ boxes even if they are not recommended as I consider myself an advanced user.

One click does it all (Scan in-depth in 1 click). Just check ‘Do not clean the registry’ and ‘Start cleaning’ as well as ‘Shut down pc after cleaning’ boxes at the bottom of the window.

Try it out yourself to get the feel of it. Then you will know whether it is right for you.
But you are so right when you stated ‘To each his own’.

That's not really comparing apples to apples as these two uninstallers have different use cases.

I use both.
To uninstall Edge, Edge Update, Bing and OneDrive from my laptops running on a Windows 10 platform, I used the portable version of Wise.

For other software uninstallation, I use Revo or Soft Organizer (depending on the laptop) as the initial installation process has been traced.

I don't know about BC uninstaller but the paid for portable version of Revo has a few tools other than uninstalling. Don't know if available in the free version.
