Windows 11
Win11 22H2

I put Terminal on the taskbar.

I had Ubuntu installed using WSL, but uninstalled it.

When I right click the Terminal icon, it still shows Ubuntu as one of the choices,
together with Window Powershell, Command Prompt, etc.

I want to remove Ubuntu from that menu.
I tried removing Terminal from the taskbar and putting it back, but Ubuntu is still there.

Wouldn't this work? Open up Terminal and then click on the down arrow and then settings, choose Ubuntu under Profiles and then click on Delete Profile on the right hand side?

Not sure if clicking on the Save button is needed on the button after step 3.

It does not appear in the list under Profiles. It only appears when right-clicking the icon on the taskbar.Screenshot 2023-11-18 222607.pngScreenshot 2023-11-18 223154.png

I ran reset on the Terminal app and that appears to have fixed it.

I guess in your case, the data is still in one of the files but not the part where you have control over. Glad you fixed it though.
