In the WU section\ I went to Update History\ and, down to Uninstall Updates\
As I was watching 2 Dell support cleanup youtubes.

The bottom two are gone. but, KB 5037591 uninstalled & on a Windows Update
KB 5037591 came back for an install? and, is now in the Uninstall Updates area again?
Any comments on this pls. Also my "winver" was at 23H2 os build 22632.3737

After running "winver" again. it now shows 22H2 os build 22621.3737
I did do a restart after each one I uninstalled..... what's up....regards,

KB5027397 is the 23H2 Enablement Package. After installing that one you should be back on 22631.3737

Just because an Update shows on the Uninstall Updates list, doesn't mean you're "supposed" to uninstall it.
The Uninstall Updates list is just in case an update is causing you problems, and needs to be uninstalled.

If you're not having any Windows 11 problems... just ignore the Uninstall Updates list. :-)

Even if you ARE having Windows 11 problems... unless one of those updates on the Uninstall Updates list is the cause... just ignore them.



Generally, all you need to do to cleanup after Windows updates is to run Disk Cleanup, and the following command...

1. Open a command prompt as Admin and run this...

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup


When you run Disk Cleanup... make sure to also do the.. "Cleanup System Files"

KB5037591 is just a .NET Framework update... you can find it here...

As I mentioned above, just ignore the Uninstall Updates list unless you KNOW that one of those updates is causing you problems with Windows 11.

Back around July 2023 Microsoft installed 23H2, but left it turned OFF.
The Enablement Package just turns it ON, and changes the build number from 22621 to 22631.

If winver says 22631.3737, then the Enablement Package won't do anything.
