I hope someone can assist with this....
Win 11 pro....I use Companion Link software to sync between my Android Pixel 8 pro phone and my 2021 Microsoft Office Outlook.....

Normally when I enter some data in either the cell phone or outlook......a calendar appointment for example......Companion Link will
synchronize between the two......
Right now I can only manually synchronize....and it does not work every time....

I get this error message....

This version of CompanionLink requires the driver file "c:\users\steve\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup\companionlink.Drv" to be present on the run-time path.

I have has had several tickets opened with Companion Link and all they can tell me is to re-install the program which I've done maybe 5 times so far......it does not fix the problem....

The error message says "companionlink.Drv" to be present on the run-time path."...... I have no idea what the "run-time path" is or I could go there and see if the driver is in
fact present......

When I do a search for the driver I find it is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\CompanionLink\Drv.........I have no idea if that is in the "run-time path" or not.....

Anyone have any experience with Companion Link....???

BTW I have used Companion Link for about 10 years in a Win 10 pc with no issues at all......And when I converted to Win 11 Companion Link did work......

Thoughts and ideas appreciated....

Hi, I'm a companion Link - user Desktop Outlook to Android device.

Anyway, I'm running the latest version of it on Windows 11 24H2 and have no such issues.

Is this an old build version of CL (Companion Link)? Also what OS is this running on. Not that, that shouldn't be an issue as I've been running CL since Windows 7, and I've never seen your issue on with any version of Windows or versions of CL.

With that have you tried reinstalling CL?

Also, and I'm sure you know this, but have you checked that you have the latest version of Deja Office on your Android device? For those not in the know, Deja Office is a requirement of Companion Link.
