Hello. This may be in the incorrect forums for me to post so please let me know. After I had updated my gateway laptop to windows 11, it was working fine for maybe a week at most. I had stopped using my computer for a couple of days and when I used it again. It had blue screened on me 6 times and brought me to the bit locker safe key. The system said that it was unable to repair itself. I decided to go through a clean wipe of everything on my computer in hopes that would fix the issue. I did the recycle factory reset and after it restated, it stayed on a black screen for over an hour and still hasn’t changed even I turned off and on my computer. If anyone is able to help me fix my computer and get it back to normal I would very much appreciate it! Anything helps at this point.

BSOD usually points to failing hardware or drivers. This post should have been directed at the BSOD section of this forum so it can get the attention it deserves. I am tagging @zbook

For the factory reset which operating system was reinstalled?

It should have the best tested drivers for the make and mode.

This is likely a hardware problem.

There is little a computer user can do with the hardware on a laptop.

RAM and Drive can be tested without Windows.

For RAM testing > Memtest86 or Memtest86+> 8 or more passes > post images

For Drive testing > Sea Tools bootable > long generic test > post images

Ubuntu or another operating could be installed for testing purposes.

Consider servicing in a local computer store.
