That's another reason your system specs in your profile, is so helpful.

When you post a problem, we can look at your specs. If we see a crappy power supply, we can suggest some good ones... etc.

Seasonic not only makes great PSUs... they make a lot of "other" company's PSUs too. :-)

Yeah. I’m not blaming the psu anymore, just wondered if it got damaged. But the computer probably wouldn’t run at all.and I don’t think ram would make it randomly turn on when in hibernate or sleep. So that’s why I was looking at bios and wondering if the board got damaged. Don’t see why on a surge protector
 
Just a thought. One way to find out what is causing a wake-up problem is provided by the command line. Open a command prompt with elevated privileges and enter this command:

powercfg –lastwake

The last device that woke up the system will be shown

To find out which devices are enabled to wake up the PC, enter this command

powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

Ill try it and see if there’s any data. It literally just booted right now out of nowhere, before was off the whole time. It’s starting it’s on and off loop again. I just turned off the power. When it’s on, it just takes a tap of the power button ajd it just immediately powers off, not like a shut down where it takes a Couple seconds or longer.
 
If the power was left on, it would just turn itself on and off vomtacntly forever. With sometimes short tome in between and sometimes long
 
just a thought .. do you have Windows Hello setup ?
especially for facial recognition via the camara.

No windows hello.
The issue happens even with no drive plugged in. Completely hardware related. I haven’t tried the lastwake yet. I’ll post what that displays

The computer might have power offed since the last sudden random booting. I’ll try that code right away again if it suddenly starts again. Unless that realtek pcie tells you something
 
Actually I did switch it off since, to stop it from booting. So I guess I should try again once it does it again

It just let windows run for 30 minutes. Shut itself down in the process. Booted the computer amd shut itself down with a black screen. Then booted it again into windows now. I don’t expect it to stay on long.
Remember it does this with any drive or os or even without a drive
 
I’ve had seasonic tell me if it was psu. It would stay off for good. But i just read they can cause multiple crashes
 
Windows memory diagnostics tool detected no problems. Im assuming that’s a good enough ram test
 
I just need some kind of effective software that can test a motherboard, psu
