I just got a new laptop with Windows 11 Home. The Windows 11 File Explorer has me totally confused. Windows 10 File Explorer made sense and seemed intuitive, but I can’t grasp what I am seeing in 11. See the attachment to see how my File Explorer looks. I’ve watched several videos but what I my Explorer doesn’t look the same. Here are some things I am questioning:
- There is no Quick Access in the Navigation pane.
- Desktop is the highest level and is outdented from everything else.
- Some items appear multiple times, like Desktop and Documents.
- Folder Terry points to c:\Users\Terry. Why is it displayed where it is?
- Windows Build/Version
- Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 Build 22621.1344
