Constant Crashing


The misbehaving driver was from 2019.

After completing the troubleshooting (computer stability) it can be reinstalled (newer version if available) and stress tested.

ok, I have removed the Gigabyte RGB stuff so that driver is now gone.

I tested the RAM and it made dozens of passes the other week. I was leaning toward CPU because of the i9 issues with 13th and 14th gen but the IPDT tool passes and the system works fine in safe mode with networking. Additionally the machine has also started crashing when its been idle for a few hours, but doesn't produce a BSOD just locks up like its sleeping.

To see if it's a memory issue, remove one stick of RAM. If the problem persists, put that one back and remove the other one. If the problem occurs with each RAM stick, then perhaps it's something else. At least you've proved it's not a single defective stick.

Just wanted to send a quick update. I got an RMA CPU from Intel and so far no more crashes. I will post back if it crashes again, but I think the CPU was the culprit. Thanks again for everyones help. I really appreciate you taking the time to help.
