That was one of the first things I did along with updating the chipset drivers and disabling secure boot and a few other things as well. Those efforts are detailed in this thread. The problem persisted after all of those efforts, so I stopped work on it, and took the 'wait and see' approach. That seems to have resulted in success!Did you happen to update your BIOS at all?
I used to have lock ups on my current PC years ago with my desktop motherboard
I reported it to ASUS and they fixed it for me..
I stay up to date on my BIOS but then again I know how to update software/drivers/BIOS-updates too.
