Is your PC not compatible with Windows 11? You can use Rufus to removethe TPM, Secure Boot and RAM requirements and install the OS.

Full instructions at the link, and RUFUS does all the work, for you.

All that's needed is...

1. Windows 11 ISO
2. USB Flash Drive 8GB or more.
3. Rufus (latest version)

4. Must have the USB stick inserted, and must browse to the ISO image.
5. Then the option [no TPM/no Secure boot/8GB RAM] will appear.

Ofc, make a full OS image backup of Windows 10 for two reasons...

1. So you can go back to Windows 10 if you want.
2. So you can restore Windows 10 if Windows 11 still won't install.

Posted this yesterday. How do get past the Windows 11 CPU Requirement?
Tried it on my upgraded Windows 11 desktop, and it will not give you the 2 iso options.

Right now, I'm on Windows 10, on a machine that is compatible with Windows 11.
I just ran: rufus-3.16_BETA2.exe and I do see the option mentioned in the article.

I'm thinking this might be a nice option for those non-technical folk out there.
Like Aunt 17cats, in a different State, who wants Win 11 on a non-compatible computer.

I've tried Rufus, but I don't see the 2 options. I've also setup Windows 10 on a gen 1 Hyper-V machine, not meeting the requirements, but don't get the option.

Ok, I'm now on Win 11 22000.258 RTM

I just checked rufus-3.16_BETA2, again, and it seems to work.

I did notice that if Rufus isn't pointed at BOTH a USB flash drive and a Windows 11 ISO, then I don't get the
(no TPM/no Secure boot/8GB RAM) option.

Note: I used the official MS Win 11 RTM ISO, when I checked this out.

I'm on Win 11 Pro 21H2 22000.194 and it worked the same for me with the Win11_English_x64.iso and with a 256Gb USB 3.0 and a 32GB USB 2.0 flash drive.

Worked like a charm! I downloaded Rufus Beta from the link in #1 above, downloaded the official Windows 11 release version 22000.194 ISO, and created a bootable USB for my MBR, no TPM, no secure boot PC, and it installed without a hitch.
So much easier than the other methods which make you jump through a few hoops to get Win11 installed.

the stable release is out (rufus 3.16) and I can see the option. However, when I was trying to boot from it on my unsupported PC, it is stuck on a black screen forever. no text and no visual graphics.
The PC is missing TPM and Secure Boot. Also the CPU is not supported (i5-7400). Anyone know how to fix this?

Steve, try to reformat the stick with Rufus again, and maybe use another USB port of your PC.

Sadly media creation tool iso's do not work with rufus using either option For this computer or unchecking that for I suppose pro and home edition win-11 iso
This is the only download option that worked with rufus

Yeah. The Media Creation Tool puts the installation media ON the USB stick. The user has no option to use RUFUS.
The Media Creation Tool is Microsoft's version of Rufus.

You must use the straight ISO download.

I've found that when I download the ISO and use PowerISO I can create a bootable USB.

I just downloaded the ISO from Microsoft, and ran Rufus 3.16
Seems to be working for me.
Note: I plug the USB stick into a motherboard port.

Yep that is where I got my first iso from single language 64 bit
Which worked once
Guess you do need a usb connected it's the only thing that was different lol
Getting another MCT iso to try again, don't believe it will work though but yep MCT iso for this pc works

The USB stick must be connected, and you have to browse (SELECT) to the ISO.

Note: The bottom option at the MS site is NOT the MCT option. It's just the ISO option.
