I have just purchased a new Crucial X10 2Tb SSD portable drive. It initially connects to my almost new, fully patched Windows 11 PC, but shortly afterwards it disconnects with the message 'set address failed error code 43'.
Looking across the web, this seems to be a very common error for SSD external drives. I have turned off fast startup as suggested, but that has not solved the problem. My PC only has one 20Gb USB3.2 port, and when it works it is great, but it only lasts a few minutes. The PC is fully patched and up to date.
Any suggestions, please?
