Debloat Windows 11 or not?

That’s good enough for me.

Something definitely went astray when I was installing Win X-Lite Optimum on my HP.

I apologize for causing an alarm.
No worries, maybe you had bad drivers on something with that machine.

But don’t you get them back after the next Windows update?
No I don't. not the programs but some of the Tweaks revert but that is an easy fix using Shawn's Reg hacks.

I have installed X-Lite Optimium 25H2. I ran SFC /Scannow and it said there was corruption and it had fixed it. I rebooted and ran SFC /Scannow again and it found no corruption. BUT, you should not run SFC!

  1. SFC doesn’t know the build is custom.
It compares files against the standard Microsoft manifests. When it sees missing or altered files, it reports “corruption.”
  2. When it says it “fixed” files, it may just have replaced altered files with the closest available copy.
On X-Lite, this usually comes from whatever remains in the slimmed-down WinSxS store. Sometimes it doesn’t actually restore the original Microsoft file—it just marks the integrity as satisfied.
  3. CBS log may be incomplete or missing.
Because the build may have stripped the logging mechanism, SFC thinks it has fixed files even if nothing truly changed.
  4. Your OS is fine.
The files SFC “fixed” were mostly those intentionally removed or modified. Functionality won’t improve, and running SFC repeatedly only produces the same reports.

In short: X-Lite makes SFC think it’s repairing things, but it’s essentially a false positive. On this type of build, SFC has no meaningful role.

Ok, my bad! I accept your explanation.

Come to think of it, those devs are professionals and it makes no sense to me that they would make a setup that ends in one having a OS that is corrupted.

Thanks for the trouble of installing Win X-Lite Optimum and sorry for the inconvenience.
