Dell XPS 9500 SSD Question

Hey guys, I have a Dell XPS 9500 that got damaged. Purchased a grade A of the exact same model, processor, graphics. Everything is the same. Can I remove the SSD from the damaged laptop to the newly purchased laptop without any issues? Windows 11 pro is on both machines. Just hate having to transfer all the files, college software etc.Would be a pain and time consuming. Thanks for helping me.

It probably will work, usually drivers are the main issue in swapping drives between computers. I haven't seen an issue with Activation when only the drive was changed but just be aware of that possibility.

Same model and equipped the same, and ssd not damaged,Yes it should. If you're able to get into the uefi bios, make sure the new one has same settings as old one.Specifically look at the setting for sata operation mode whether it is set to AHCI or RAID. If you can't get into the bios of the old damaged one to compare settings, and you put the ssd into the new one and it won't boot, that would be the setting to change.
