Desktop Icons....Strange Occurence

Yesterday my Desktop Icons reverted to large.....and I can't get them back to medium or small......what's going on ?.....

Right Click empty space on Desktop > View > Small icons.

In a Windows PowerShell window type sfc /scannow (note the space after sfc) and then press the return key.
Allow the command to run. It may take 5 minutes or more.
If it finds corrupt files and fixes them close the PowerShell window and restart the device.

Does this fix it?

Thanks.........Fixed now......it was something to do with screen resolution......for some reason it had changed to too hjigh......changed it, and all is good now......

Also while on the desktop if you click control key, you can scroll the size of the desktop icons with the mouse scroll wheel. You can make the icons even larger than you can using the context menu.
