Solved disk cleanup removed from W11

It is still in my copy of W11, I use the simplest way to get to it:
This PC
Right click on the drive of your choice
Properties
disk cleanup

If you go to tools, you can also optimise SSD's and error check if required.

I have been using control panel since W95, and had never bothered to click on windows tools till you prompted me, thanks, Navy.

As I explained, that has changed in latest Dev version, so now I have a shortcut to cleanmgr.exe.

I am only on the beta, Microsoft have not yet got round to "improving" that.

After installing "KB5008295" and "KB5006746", Disk Cleanup (Run as Admin) does not show "Windows Update Cleanup" and "System Files Cleanup"!

Build 22000.282 (Stable version, Enterprise)

You can click on the C: drive then clink on the three dots on the top righthand side.

It's a lower listing.
Since it doesn't show any unused ms apps it shouldn't be there

How about this.. right click on start,, press run and then enter cleanmgr

Quite right @BunnyJ, I did just that, then opened file location and created a shortcut and put it in a folder I call Maintenance, obviously you can put the shortcut where you like.

Which, of course, won't work if you've replaced the Command bar with the classic ribbon. In that case, you have to click Drive Tools instead of the three dots (which are not there on the ribbon).

@Winuser @BunnyJ If you look along the list there is one called clean up 3rd in from left on mine that does the trick with the "old style" explotrer

I just use the method to run cleanmgr..

Clean install of Windows 11 Pro RTM 21H1 (build 22000.282).

Haven't read the entire thread, but I certainly have Disk Cleanup as well as the shortcut pinned to taskbar...

All I did was search for "disk cleanup" in the Search bar and it came up.
