I remind you that I do not work for ASUS (everything I do for the ASUS ROG community is out of passion, on a voluntary basis) and I do not replace ASUS Support :

- If you have an issue that occurring with the last audio drivers from your motherboard support page (and therefore that it is not specific to the last audio drivers that I offer) : Contact ASUS Support.

- If you have an issue that didn't occurring with the last audio drivers from your motherboard support page : CLEANUP process then install/use the last audio drivers package from your motherboard support page.

hi I have now Rog Crosshair hero x670. I did followed the clean-up process thoroughly and was able to install it but sonic apps say the driver are not installed properly or unsupported. When I had Strix x670 motherboard ,it used to install without problem. ( and yes I installed Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) ). If I checked the drivers in driverexplorer, everything seems to be installed but what do u think is gone wrong with sonics apps?

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

I have a ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO motherboard, but I would like to know which drivers you recommend Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) or Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Legacy) and what are the advantages of one and the other.

ASUS and Realtek canceled the discard of the SS3 variant :

@ ASUS ROG SS|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards (ROG Strix Z790-A/E/F Gaming WiFi II, ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero/Apex Encore/Formula or more recent) users : You can only use/install Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

@ ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards users : You can only use/install Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread (If you had previsously installed Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS-DTS), please follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process with Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) (for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process).

Thank you so much for doing this. I'm very glad I found this site, as Realtek drivers are ones that have always frustrated me.

Two questions:

My new build will have an ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI motherboard. I want to confirm that Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) are the correct drivers.
As this will be a fresh install of Windows 11, I will install this driver (along with other drivers - chipset, graphics, network) after installing Windows but prior to running Windows Update. Will I need to run cleanup for any default/basic audio drivers that might be there after installing Windows?
